I have a similar feeling with my TVS XL Super which i used from my college(UG). Its been 9 yrs and I still possess it, even after a Bajaj Pulsar and a Maruti Swift. There were lots of "first experiences" which includes some of the items in your list. Those would never be same with out my XL Super. It's with the mechanic now for servicing and i will get it back anew... Wonderful indeed.
